About Kisil Media
It started with one agency website.
I built the site for K2 Insurance, an independent Florida agency writing across all 67 counties. Then I went looking at what else was out there, and how badly this industry is served stopped being an observation and became the whole business.
Why insurance only
Independent agencies get the worst websites in America.
Not because agents don't care. Because the options are a carrier template three hundred other agencies are running, or a generalist designer who has never thought about how a deductible gets explained. Both produce a brochure. Neither produces quote requests.
I'm not an agent — I'm the person who builds for agents. My family is in insurance and I sold health insurance before this, so the industry isn't new to me, but I want to be precise about which side of the desk I sit on.
What I bring to it
Sold health insurance
Different line than P&C, and I'll never pretend otherwise. But I know what a quote request looks like from the selling side — why people abandon a form halfway, what a dead lead actually costs, and how much of the decision is made before anyone picks up the phone.
IT project management
The less glamorous half, and probably the one you'll notice more. Scope stays defined, you know what's happening each week, and the site launches on the date I gave you rather than whenever it's finished.
Websites across a lot of industries
Contractors, clinics, professional services — enough range to know that insurance is genuinely different, and enough to know it's the one worth doing properly.
The standard
Every site gets held to how people actually shop.
Property & casualty shoppers compare coverage, read reviews, and want a quote fast — often from a phone, often in under two minutes. That's the bar. Working in one industry means the strategy, the page structure, and the quote flows are already worked out before your project starts, instead of being invented from scratch on your budget.
It also means I take one agency per market. You'll never compete for rankings against another site I built.
Straightforward
No jargon, no upsells you don't need. Just a clear plan and a site that does what it's supposed to do.
Built to perform
Fast load times, clean structure, and design decisions made to move visitors toward action — not just look good.
Actually available
You work directly with the person building your site, before and after launch.
